  8.    Welcome to a demonstration of the Ultimate Hard Disk Backup and Restore
  9. program for the Atari ST:  Diamond Back II.  Under continual development for
  10. more than 4 years, this latest version represents our unwavering commitment
  11. to provide the Atari ST community with the highest quality software and
  12. product support available for any computer.

  14.    It is very important to note that this is a DEMONSTRATION VERSION ONLY 
  15. AND CANNOT BE USED TO BACKUP YOUR HARDDRIVE.   This is provided solely 
  16. as a service to allow you to view the capabilities of Diamond Back II 
  17. before purchase.  In addition, there are many additional utility programs 
  18. provided in the commercial version that are not included in this 
  19. demonsration version.  Although all program functions are operational, 
  20. there are limitations that are important to understand:
  21.  
  22. 1) On GEM File Backups, ONLY the 1st disk backed up will have data on it.
  23.    This is to prove to you that Diamond Back II really produces 100% GEM
  24.    disks at incredible speeds and to allow you to excercise the File Restore 
  25.    portions of the program.  All other floppy disks will be zeroed.

  27. 2) Hard Disk to Hard Disk Backups are allowed to show you the blazing speed
  28.    of execution.  However, the destination FAT tables and directory sectors
  29.    are not updated.  When you exit it will be as if nothing ever happened.

  31. 3) No Restore of GEM Image or Spectre Image backups are allowed.
